Serving Corvallis since 2012

Corvallis web design & WordPress development.

We're Abide Web Design — a small WordPress and graphic design studio based right here in Corvallis. We've lived in this town for years, raised our kids here, and built websites for our neighbors since 2012. If you're looking for a local studio that does excellent work and sticks around to maintain it, we'd love to talk.

Why a Corvallis studio matters

Actually local.

Our studio is in Corvallis. We attend the same school events, shop at the same stores, and bump into our clients at the farmers market. When something goes wrong with your site at 9 p.m. on a Tuesday, you’re talking to someone who lives ten minutes away.

That difference shows up in the work. We know which neighborhoods our clients are trying to reach. We know the local context for an OSU-affiliated program, a Benton County nonprofit, or a downtown small business. And because we’ve been here since 2012, our clients can rely on us to be here next year and the year after that.

Client testimonial

Over the past several years, Abide Web Design has provided strategic guidance on website design and the development of our website as a communication hub for the district. They worked directly with our communications coordinator in development and design, and he created a user-friendly system that non-technical staff can maintain. That has been a crucial aspect of keeping our website up-to-date.

Working with us in Corvallis

Working with a local studio.

We’re a two-person team — Josh and David — and our clients work with us directly. No account managers, no project handoffs, no outsourcing. When you call (541) 224-5048, one of us picks up.

We meet with local clients in person when it helps. For most projects, ongoing communication happens by email, phone, and shared documents, but for kickoffs, complex design reviews, or just a coffee, we’re happy to come to you.

Beyond Corvallis itself, we work with clients throughout Benton County, in Albany, Salem, McMinnville, Tangent, and across the Mid-Willamette Valley. Corvallis is where we live and where most of our long-standing relationships are based.

Services for Corvallis

Services we offer Corvallis clients.

Every site we build is custom — no themes, no templates, no page-builder bloat. We focus on a handful of services we do well rather than trying to be a full-service agency.

  1. Custom WordPress websites

Hand-built using the native WordPress editor, designed around your mission and content rather than a stock theme. This is the bulk of what we do.

  2. WooCommerce e-commerce

Custom online stores with payment, shipping, tax, and inventory configuration — the same setup we've built for Stahlbush Island Farms, Stuewe and Sons, Farmers Market Foods, and many more!

  3. Education, nonprofit & public agency websites

Accessible, content-driven sites for school districts, nonprofits, and government bodies. We understand accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.1 AA) and the need for sites non-technical staff can maintain.

  4. Hosting and maintenance

Business-class managed hosting with security, backups, CDN, and 24/7 monitoring — all included in a single annual plan. Most of our Corvallis clients host with us.

  5. Logo and brand design

Identity work that ties together your site, signage, and marketing materials.

  6. SEO and digital marketing

Technical SEO, schema markup, Google Merchant Center feeds, and Google Ads campaign setup.

Common questions

Frequently asked.

Yes — Abide Web Design has been based in Corvallis since 2012. Both partners live in Corvallis. This is our home, not a service area.

Yes. We support OSU's Polar STEAM program, an NSF-funded interdisciplinary initiative led by OSU faculty. We're familiar with the constraints of working alongside university IT, branding standards, and grant-funded program timelines.

Yes. The Corvallis School District is one of our longest-standing clients. We also work with McMinnville and Sheridan school districts and a number of public agencies and nonprofits across the state. Public-sector work has its own rhythms — accessibility requirements, procurement processes, multiple stakeholder audiences — and we know how to work with all of it.

Yes — WooCommerce is one of our specialties. Stahlbush Island Farms, Pet Pharmacy NW, and Farmers Market Foods are all WooCommerce stores we've built and continue to maintain.

A standard custom WordPress build runs four to six weeks. We also offer a one-week build for businesses that need to launch quickly. Larger projects — e-commerce, complex membership functionality, multi-stakeholder education sites — can run longer. We'll scope it honestly when we talk.

Yes — every project we build includes the option to host with us. Our managed hosting plan is $799/year and includes security, backups, CDN, monitoring, and 24/7 support. Most of our Corvallis clients have hosted with us for years.
