Athey Creek
A Bible-teaching church in West Linn, Oregon, whose website we develop and host, along with sites we built for their related ministries.
Athey Creek Church dates back to 1996, when Brett Meador, who sensed God calling him to start a church, moved to Portland with his family. The fellowship began with a small group of believers who met at Athey Creek Middle School to study through the Bible, and they still teach through it chapter by chapter and book by book. Today they meet at two campuses in West Linn and one each in Hillsboro and McMinnville, and Athey Creek at Home groups across the US and in other countries watch the services together. From the start, their vision has been clear and focused: “We want everything we do to point to Jesus.”
Website Design
We maintain Athey Creek Church’s website and build the new features they ask for, to bring their teaching to everyone who wants to hear it. Their group pages, which we built, list the women’s Devoted groups by town and Athey Creek at Home groups by state and country, so people can find one near them. We added a section for their Today’s Word radio program, where listeners can hear the latest teaching or look back through earlier broadcasts. Athey Music, the musical group that grew out of their worship ministry, has a WordPress website that we created too, with chord charts for most of its songs and video tutorials for some, to help musicians learn to play them.
Website Hosting & Maintenance
We provide the hosting for Athey Creek Church’s main website, and for Athey Music and PDX Crusade, two websites we built. Each month we back up all three, and we monitor them 24/7 and apply their updates. We keep working on the main site’s speed for the people who listen and watch there, and we prepare its hosting ahead of the services and events that bring the site its busiest days. Their staff bring their requests to us, and over the years we’ve been glad to take on a lot of them.
