A custom WooCommerce site for a Tangent, Oregon distributor of plant containers and forestry growing supplies to growers since 1982.
Stuewe and Sons was founded in 1982 to give growers the containers and supplies they need. Their president, Eric Stuewe, has been with the company from the start, and Operations Manager Gayla Giles has been with them since 1988. They distribute from Tangent, Oregon, and specialize in nursery containers for tree seedlings and plant propagation, used for native plants and hardwood seedlings as well as citrus and grapevines. Nurseries, reforestation programs, and research facilities around the world buy from them, and so do individuals.
Website Design
We created Stuewe and Sons’ WooCommerce store, and we have been improving it with them since it launched. The back-office system where their staff manage inventory and orders sets the stock count customers see on the product pages, and each order a customer places is sent to it. We laid out those product pages so growers can check each container’s sizes, specifications, and uses, and choose the right one for what they’re growing.
Website Hosting & Maintenance
Stuewe and Sons has been with us for more than five years, and we host their store. We back it up every month and update its WordPress and WooCommerce software, and the store is monitored 24 hours a day. We answer the Stuewe team’s questions and concerns quickly, and if an order has trouble reaching their back-office system, we hear about it and step in.
