A custom WordPress website for a Corvallis nonprofit stewarding the growth of a resilient local food web across three Oregon counties.

Ten Rivers Food Web is a Corvallis-based nonprofit stewarding the growth of a resilient local food web in Benton, Lincoln, and Linn counties. Their programs include Fill Your Pantry (a one-day farmers’ market and winter vegetable festival every November), the Mid-Valley Food Hub (sourcing local food for institutions from multiple farms with one order, one invoice, one delivery), the Soil Amendment Sale (bulk organic soil amendments for backyard gardeners and farmers), and a Local Food Directory connecting consumers with nearby farms. Ten Rivers envisions a vibrant regional food economy where reciprocal relationships sustain a thriving food system, steward land and water, and produce food that nourishes the whole community. Currently, only 5% of food consumed in the region is produced locally — Ten Rivers is working to change that.

We designed and built Ten Rivers Food Web’s website on WordPress to support a nonprofit with four distinct programs, each serving different audiences (farmers, institutions, gardeners, consumers) across three counties. The site is organized around the programs — Fill Your Pantry, Mid-Valley Food Hub, Soil Amendment Sale, and the Local Food Directory — with clear pathways for each audience to find what they need. Donation and volunteer engagement pathways are integrated throughout. A newsletter signup with county-specific segmentation lets Ten Rivers communicate with supporters in Benton, Lincoln, and Linn counties separately. The visual design is warm and food-forward, grounding the organization in the landscapes and farms it serves.
We host tenriversfoodweb.org on managed WordPress infrastructure tuned for a nonprofit with seasonal traffic spikes (Fill Your Pantry in November, Soil Amendment Sale in January/March). The hosting plan includes performance optimization, daily backups, security hardening, 24/7 monitoring, and direct support from our team.
