A custom WooCommerce store for a multicultural choral music publisher serving choirs worldwide since 1988.
Since 1988, Earthsongs Choral Music has been providing multicultural choral music to choirs. They publish and sell sheet music from cultures and traditions around the world, some of it gathered into series such as GGM, Muungano, and Canciones del Mundo. To go with the music, they offer books of translations and annotations of choral repertoire, as well as CDs and spoken pronunciation guides for many of their pieces. From Corvallis, Oregon, Earthsongs serves choral directors, music educators, and performing ensembles in the United States and abroad.
Website Design
With choral directors and music educators in mind, we designed a WooCommerce store for Earthsongs Choral Music, to make finding the right piece in their rich catalog a pleasure rather than a chore. In the shop, visitors can narrow their search by country, language, or composer, and on the home page, a world map brings up the pieces from any continent they click. That page also features three Earthsongs series, chosen at random each day, giving directors who visit often a different corner of the catalog to explore.
Website Hosting & Maintenance
We’re Earthsongs Choral Music’s web host, and we still work on their store, most recently on the shipping options customers see at checkout and the sale banner on their home page. Our monitoring runs nonstop, our backups run monthly, and we update WordPress and WooCommerce to protect the store, so directors can order music any time of day.
