A custom WordPress website for an independent student loan consultant who guides borrowers nationwide through repaying their loans.
Jan Miller started his consulting work as a part-time hobby, helping family and friends with their student debt. As more people in his community sought him out, it became his specialty, and in June 2000 he founded Miller Student Loan Consulting. Jan loves his work and cares about his clients. He has worked in both the student loan and financial services industries, and today he consults with borrowers throughout the country on their student loans, from finding the programs they qualify for to forecasting what those loans will cost. More than a third of his clients are physicians, and he often advises couples and families together. Veronica Gomez, a partner and consultant at the firm, manages the day-to-day business and keeps the website current.
Website Design
We designed Jan Miller’s WordPress website to welcome borrowers as warmly as he does on the phone. The site is a custom build on the Elementor page builder, and his team can lay out a new post or page in the same editor we used. Jan counts many doctors among his clients, and he also works with financial planners, so we added separate pages for the two groups, each with the student loan questions that commonly come up. The blog we built into the site holds Jan’s posts on changing student loan rules and deadlines, so readers can see what those changes might mean for them.
Website Hosting & Maintenance
Jan Miller has us host his website, and if something on it isn’t working as it should, he and his team only have to let us know. Every month we save a backup of the site, and our monitoring checks on it 24 hours a day. Student loan programs change frequently, and we want the site ready whenever Jan has news for borrowers.
