Case Study

Marion Soil and Water Conservation District

Marion Soil and Water Conservation District is one of 45 Conservation Districts in Oregon. We have an independent governing board with seven elected director positions. Marion SWCD’s mission is to protect, conserve and improve the quality of soil and water in Marion County through planning, technical assistance, and education.

The Solution

Website Design

For Marion Soil and Water Conservation District, we designed a custom WordPress site that breathes new life into their distinctive brand—integrating hand-drawn map textures, native-plant color palettes, and an updated logo system across every icon and call-out. A streamlined admin hub powers their annual native plant sale, letting staff track inventory, process orders, and coordinate pickups with just a few clicks. The content architecture spotlights three pillars front and center: a resource library packed with grant forms, native-species guides, and on-demand workshops; clear “Get Involved” pathways that funnel visitors toward volunteer sign-ups and stewardship events; and dynamic conservation stories that translate data into inspiring impact visuals. The result is an elevated digital hub that celebrates MSWCD’s environmental mission while making it effortless for the community to learn, participate, and protect local soil and water resources.
