Precision Measurements and Instruments Corporation (PMIC) is a Corvallis, Oregon-based materials testing laboratory providing ASTM-accredited testing services for industries including aerospace and aviation, space and defense, additive manufacturing, energy and oil/gas, electronics, automotive, and industrial manufacturing. PMIC’s testing capabilities span thermal expansion, thermal conductivity, moisture expansion, thermal cycling, dimensional stability, electrical resistivity, mechanical properties, calorimetry, thin-film deposition, and Hall effect measurements. The lab also designs and builds custom testing instruments. Accredited by the International Accreditation Service (IAS), PMIC serves clients whose materials must meet the most demanding performance specifications — from satellite components and aircraft structures to 3D-printed parts and next-generation batteries.
Website Design
We redesigned and rebuilt PMIC’s website on a custom WordPress theme to position a specialty materials testing lab for the technical audiences who evaluate testing partners: engineers, materials scientists, procurement officers, and quality assurance teams at aerospace, defense, and industrial companies. The site is organized around two primary axes: Testing Services (twelve individual service pages, each detailing methodology, applicable standards, and capabilities) and Industries (eight industry-specific pages showing how PMIC’s capabilities apply to each sector’s materials challenges). Individual service and industry pages are content-rich with technical detail — the kind of information an engineer needs to confidently request a quote. A custom testing instruments section showcases PMIC’s engineering capability beyond testing services. The design is clean and technically credible, letting the depth of PMIC’s capabilities speak for itself.
Website Hosting & Maintenance
We host pmiclab.com on managed WordPress infrastructure tuned for a B2B technical website with deep content and international traffic (PMIC serves clients worldwide). The hosting plan includes performance optimization, daily backups, security hardening, 24/7 monitoring, and direct support.
